What cannabis user has watched the movie Pineapple Express without thinking "I've gotta try THAT some day!"
I don't know that it is the "dopest dope I've ever smoked" but here is my experience with this famous strain:
We'll start with smell. This herb definitely lives up to its namesake! It has a sweet aromatic smell with deep mango-esc (or pineapple if you will) overtones. Remaining vaguely musky underneath.
When lit this flower tastes earthy with a sweet and fruity aftertaste.
I had read that this strain was a premium sativa, so I was looking to be energized and inspired! However, it is important to remember that like most medicines, people react differently to different strains of cannabis.
For me, this Pineapple Express is very relaxing and is good for relieving stress and anxiety. It does not, however, inspire Seth Rogen and James Franco level antics. It mostly makes me want to sit on the couch and watch movies with intricate plot lines. Though the effects are less than motivating, this flower does leave me with a mellow sense of clarity. I feel like doing creative stationary activities would be most enjoyable while using this strain, such as art or writing. I will say that it makes me feel extremely relaxed and a little bit head-heavy without feeling sleepy.
